I was fortunate to be able to stop by the Japanese Tea Garden and Cultural Center today in Saginaw, Michigan. We did a three part series on the garden two years ago and I was wondering if the trees and flowers were beginning to bloom.
We were not disappointed. Many of the trees and flowers were starting to bloom. Many of the cherry trees had just started to open, but others had turned fully white. Also, the daffodils not only had emerged but were fully in bloom.
You should check out the garden and center if you get a chance. Check their site, linked above, for details on hours directions. For $3, you can get an authentic cup of matcha along with a Japanese sweet treat. We post a few photos here for your enjoyment.
